A gift of God's love
You must love, keep, and tend for
This gift from above.
As you look on your child
So precious and dear,
Your child will grow in love,
But teach him God is near.
Near to all things
When we ask Him to be
I know He cares about you
And He cares about me.
Teach your child to look up
To our God up above
For when we look up
God is aware of our love.
