Thank You, Lord, by Marie MacIntyre

Thank you Lord, for another day.
A day for which my heart can say,
Thank you, Lord.
For I've things to do, work to finish
So I can come to you.
A world has need for those who care,
For wants and needs are everywhere.
So Lord, use my life as you would do,
For all my life is dedicated to you.

A Petition, by Marie MacIntyre

Father, thy child is going home,
Please guide her on her way.
May peace her firm companion be,
Please be with her today.

Oh Father, her mind is troubled:
She doesn't know what to do.
I pray you'll lift the burden
So she can come to you.

Little Child, by Marie MacIntyre

You're far from me, my little child
But not by choice or guile,
Come spend some time in prayer with me
Relax, and rest in me awhile.

I find that you are closest when
You cry or when you smile,
Come stay with me, abide in me
I'll go that last, long mile.

A perfect Lord I am to be
To each dear precious soul,
A healing force, a loving touch
To heal and make you whole.

So be content, love, do your best
Soon you'll be fit to roam
To that wondrous heavenly place
Your soul knows as its' home.
